Demolition of the abandoned and fire-gutted Art Loom rug mill at Mascher Street and Kensington Avenue began yesterday in line with its promise that City Managing Director Hillel S. Levinson made to Kensington residents on Friday.
This is the Campbell Soup Co. plant in Paris, Texas, where chicken vegetable soup found to be contaminated was packed. The company said they were recalling from 16 states all the chicken vegetable soup after the discovery of botulism contamination.
