"Two brothers were drowned yesterday afternoon wading in the Delaware River just south of the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge . The boys , Thomas H . Gill , 3d , 13 , and Francis P . Gill , 11 , of 4141 E . Cheltenham av. , disappeared as they stepped off a ledge in the river . The body of Thomas was found shortly before 5 P.M . John Hoover , 16 , of 6126 Tulip st. , tried to save the two boys. "
